These terms explain how FamilyColab works for parent-managed families. Using FamilyColab means you accept them.

About these terms
FamilyColab is operated by Germani Ventures LLC. This page is a general, plain-language terms notice. It should be reviewed and approved by your legal team if you need a formal contract tailored to your jurisdiction.
Who can use FamilyColab
Parents or guardians create the family account, manage billing, and decide who is in the family. Children use parent-managed profiles. FamilyColab is meant for that family setting, not for unsupervised child accounts.
Accounts
Keep login details safe and tell us quickly if you think an account has been misused. Parents are responsible for how their family uses FamilyColab, including what children post or share.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to access another family's account or data.
- Do not use FamilyColab for illegal activity, harassment, or abuse.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Your content
Families own what they create in FamilyColab. To run the service we need a limited license to store, display, and back up that content inside your family space and anywhere you choose to share it.
Paid features
Subscriptions and billing are for parent-managed accounts. We do not knowingly ask children to submit payment card details. Paid features, storage limits, and plan changes are described in the account and billing screens.
Linked calendars
A parent may optionally connect Google, Microsoft (Outlook), Apple (iCloud), or Yahoo so FamilyColab can show that family's calendar on the home page and Family Board. Google and Microsoft may also sync task lists. We use that data only for those family features. Parents can disconnect anytime from Linked Accounts.

Text alerts
Optional FamilyColab text alerts are covered by the SMS terms and conditions. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using FamilyColab.

How we handle account, family, child, and linked-calendar data is described on the privacy page.
Availability and limits
We work to keep FamilyColab running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfect. Features can change as we improve the product.
Ending an account
You can stop using FamilyColab at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts families at risk.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version stays on this public page. Continued use after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.
